ABOUT THE NNPA FUND
Established in the year 1976, the National Newspaper Publishers Association FUND (NNPA FUND) stands as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, closely affiliated with the esteemed trade association, the National Newspaper Publishers Association. The primary mission of the NNPA FUND is to advance scholastic and professional initiatives meticulously crafted to uphold the storied legacy of the Black Press.
This mission encompasses the exploration and commemoration of Black culture, bridging the information gap in news coverage regarding the Black experience, and delivering compelling content that enlightens, engages, motivates, and empowers its audience. The NNPA FUND offers a diverse array of programs and services, including scholarships, internships, training opportunities, and fundraising efforts. As the philanthropic and charitable extension of the NNPA, the NNPA FUND’s overarching goal is to fortify the Black Press, ensuring its enduring impact and significance.
